Dreamweaver
'The dreamweaver' is made of a mixture of Merino, silk and cashmere is used for the warp threads. The yarn is dyed with Jet black from Prochem. Various art yarns are woven into the weft. Different fibres and spinning techniques have been used for this. These include Chenille spun from flax, core spun from a mixture of merino/silk/firestar, single spun silk waste lock-spun mohair and various bouclé yarns made from mixed fibres.
The dress must not hang on the body but follow its lines. When a woman smiles the dress must smile with her. (Madeleine Vionnet 1876-1975)
